DC Child Care Connections (DC CCC) is the District’s Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) program. DC CCC connects early childhood education professionals to an array of training and professional development opportunities.
Training and development opportunities can be accessed through:
- Professional Development Information System (PDIS) serves as a key hub for training and professional development opportunities for early childhood educators in the District. Individuals can register and view the most up-to-date training and professional development session information via the PDIS portal.
- Quorum eLearning is a training and professional development platform available online and free of cost to individuals employed in DC early care and education settings.
- The Professional Development (PD) Landscape provides an overview of all professional development and training opportunities available to early childhood educators in the District.
- The Early Learning Course Catalog was developed to provide the early childhood education (ECE) and Out-of-School Time (OST) workforce with multiple opportunities for professional growth and development; opportunities for meeting the yearly continuing education requirements; and opportunities to participate in a District-wide professional learning community. Many offerings are provided at no cost to participants!
