CCDBG Topic: Emergency preparedness and response planning for emergencies resulting from a natural disaster, or a man-caused event (such as violence at a child care facility).

Description: Being prepared for emergencies can make a big difference as to whether or not the children in your care and the staff in your program remain safe. In this course, participants will learn about the necessary steps a program should take to ensure preparedness in the event of an emergency, as well as effective strategies to communicate the emergency plan to children, parents and staff.
