January 17, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Create high-impact curriculum using children’s literature as the basis for learning. This playful session will prepare early childhood educators to nurture a child’s natural curiosity and love of learning. Participants will learn to use the appeal and learning goals of PBS KIDS programs, such as Sesame Street and Clifford, to enhance literacy skills and prepare young children for success in school. All participants will be introduced to eight to twelve new children’s books and will receive one of the featured books to add to their classroom library.
