Join this fun workshop to learn more about the endless possibilities of tinkering.

Money Matters

By the end of the session, participants will be able to build a budget that works for their family.

Baby Signs

Baby sign language is manual signing that allows infants and toddlers to communicate about emotions, desires and objects before they are able to develop spoken language. Using the Baby Signs curriculum, families will learn strategies and techniques to communicate with infants and toddlers using sign language.

Listening Lab: Protections Against Discrimination in the District

This listening lab is focused on protections against discrimination in the District. It will open with welcoming remarks by OHR’s Interim Director, Hnin Khaing; and then a brief presentation on who and what OHR is by Ajan Brown, the community engagement specialist. Following this, those attending will be split into smaller groups with an OHR facilitator. During this time, individuals are encouraged to speak about the topic and express their opinions. OHR will be taking notes. These opinions are confidential, and people will remain anonymous unless requested. Light refreshments will be provided.
